NEON Strategic Plan for comment

The National Ecological Observatory Network (NEON) will be a new facility, now under construction in the U.S., joining a family of related national, regional and global initiatives. NEON recently completed a major update to its Science Strategy document and the file is open and available for comment. Please visit our science strategy page to download it as a pdf. The Science Strategy defines what, where and how NEON measurements will be made, and processed into information for science, education, environmental data and decision support.

The NEON team is very interested in comments and feedback, as well as ideas to promote further collaboration and integration globally. The Strategy document is a high-level overview. More detailed information, including the Data Product Catalogs listing specific primary and derived data types, is also available from the NEON web site.
